Summary
This work aims at identifying and analyzing the entanglements between mobilities, ethnography and tourism, based on an integrative literature review. It seeks, in particular, the use of ethnographic methodologies applied in the field of mobilities oriented to the study of tourism – and what they present as relevant for the construction of more elaborate understandings about tourist mobilities as a specific category of analysis. Such intersections are instigating due to the originality of the framing of this work, the growth of studies of tourist mobilities that have ethnographic basis and the lack of clarity regarding the expressions used on it. From the survey and analysis of articles in an international repository, aspects of bodily, imaginative, virtual and communicational mobility were observed, at different levels and approaches. As a proposal for future studies, we suggest greater attention to the mobility of the ethnographers in contexts and discussions that cover the practices and knowledge of tourism, being understood as one of the searchable entities of mobile methods. In addition, it is necessary to consciously build tourism as a field of knowledge together with others, based on interdisciplinary discussions and subjects, not restricted to tourists as the only subjects under analysis.
